Two tabs
The page has two tabs, and they hold different kinds of thing.- Topics
- Trends
The curated backbone: reviewed subjects Wholana organises the corpus around.Topics are a tree. Broad level-1 axes such as Food & Drink, Beauty & Grooming, Comedy & Skits, Football & Sports, or Faith & Religion branch down into subtopics such as Eating out & food reviews, then into leaves such as Egyptian dishes. This tab is stable. It is what you use to scope research.
Reading a subject row
Each row shows the subject name, any aliases underneath it (including Arabic ones), and up to three signals:
Rest your cursor on any row to preview its top videos without leaving the page. Click the row to open the Explore feed filtered to that subject.
Finding a subject
- Search with the box at the top. It matches subject names and aliases, so searching in Arabic works.
- Sort by Most videos, Highest lift, Heating up, Newest (Trends only), or A–Z.
Your niche
If your workspace has topics set, a Your niche button appears next to Sort by. Turning it on narrows the whole page to just those subjects and the ones underneath them. You do not pick your topics here. Set or change them on the Dashboard with Set your niche (or Edit niches once some are set). Wholana can also infer them from your own posted videos once you have added your TikTok handle. Your topics are workspace-owned, so everyone on a Team plan workspace sees the same scope. How subjects connect the loop
Research

Study
