Wholana is a TikTok research tool for solo creators in the MENA market. You use it to study what’s working on TikTok in your niche, capture the patterns you spot, and build a private playbook of hooks, formats, and angles over time. The Wholana Explore feed — filter chips, sort, and a grid of video cards with outlier scores

The research loop

Wholana is built around a recurring loop, not a one-off session. Each pass through the loop adds to your pattern library — the saved videos and notes that, after a few weeks, become your personal reference for what works.
1

Scope the Explore feed

Compose filters — Views, Likes, Followers, Date, Category — to scope the feed to the slice of TikTok you care about.
2

Sort to find what's worth studying

The default sort is Outlier score: each video’s view count divided by the creator’s own median. Above 1.0x means the video is a breakout for that creator, regardless of how big they are.
3

Bookmark videos by theme

Click the bookmark icon on a card to save it to a TikTok list. Lists are for fast organizational capture — no notes attached.
4

Save as an idea when you want to write something down

Open a card’s detail view and save it as a saved idea with a note. Ideas are for thinking, not just bookmarking. The two save mechanisms are independent.
5

Track the creators who keep showing up

When the same creator keeps producing videos worth studying, track them so their new work surfaces automatically.

An honest list of what’s out of scope.
