Creators is where you track specific TikTok creators inside Wholana. Once tracked, their videos accumulate on their page, so you can study how their work evolves and spot the hooks or formats they reuse.
Open Creators in the Library section of the sidebar (or visit /creators).
What the page shows
The Creators surface lists every creator you’re tracking, with a count of tracked / total at the top (e.g. 860 of 860 tracked creators). Each card shows the creator’s avatar, handle, a Verified badge if applicable, follower count, and total likes.
Filtering and searching creators
The Creators page has its own controls — separate from the Explore feed’s:
- Search creators — top right, free-text search by handle or name.
- Filters — Followers, Likes, Videos, Verified. Same composable chip pattern as the Explore feed.
- Sort by — order the visible creators by the metric you care about.
Use these when your tracked list grows past what you can scan by eye.
Tracking a creator
From a video card in the Explore feed, open the creator menu on the card and add them to your tracked list. They’ll show up on the Creators page on the next refresh.
Studying a tracked creator
Click any creator on the Creators page to drill in. The creator page is a full analytics dashboard, not just a video grid.
The page has:
- Profile header — avatar, name, handle, Verified badge, bio, links to their TikTok profile and bio link.
- Stat row — Followers (with delta), Likes (with delta), TikTok Videos, Tracked Videos (how many of their videos Wholana has indexed), Following, and Median Views (the denominator used to compute Outlier score for their videos).
- Growth Analytics — time-series charts of Followers, Likes, an Overview, and a Snapshot Table. Switch the time range with
7D / 30D / All.
- Details section below.
- Their videos further down the page, in the same card grid as the Explore feed.
From the video grid, the same save mechanisms work as anywhere else:
- Bookmark videos into TikTok lists for theme-based collection.
- Open a video’s detail view to save it as a saved idea with a note.
The Median Views stat on a creator’s page is the number Wholana divides their video views by to compute the Outlier score. So a creator whose Median Views is 50K means any video of theirs with over 100K views shows as 2x or higher.
When to track a creator
- Benchmarking — track the top creator in your niche to compare against.
- Recurring patterns — when a creator wins repeatedly, the pattern is in their catalogue. Tracking gives you a stable place to study it.
- Inspiration archive — keep a small list of creators you respect and revisit their work on a cadence.
Tracking pays off most when paired with saved ideas. A creator’s page with no notes is a follow list. A creator’s page where you’ve saved ten ideas across their catalogue is a study guide for what makes them work.
- Explore feed — where you find creators worth tracking
- TikTok lists — save individual videos by theme rather than by creator
- Saved ideas — capture your thinking on what makes a tracked creator’s videos work
