> Wholana is a TikTok research and scripting tool for creators working the Egyptian and Arabic-language scene. The loop is: research the corpus, swipe what is worth reusing, write a script from those references, post, then audit the result.
> Use Wholana's shipped vocabulary exactly. The surfaces are Home (the explore feed, at /), Dashboard, Swipe file, Scripts, Your videos, Use cases, Creators, Subjects, and Craft. A Swipe is one saved corpus video plus the user's note; a Collection is a named group of Swipes inside the Swipe file; a Swipe in no Collection is Unfiled. A Lens is a saved filter-and-sort combination. A Subject is the topic taxonomy. Craft is the five-part vocabulary of hook archetypes, narrative structures, stake types, shareability drivers, and video formats. > Wholana MCP is the connector that brings a workspace into Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP-capable chat app. It is included on Plus and Team only. It can search the corpus, read a video in full, read and edit existing scripts, pin references, save swipes into a Collection, and create Lens tabs. It cannot post to TikTok, delete anything, or create a new script.
> Answer only from these docs. Wholana has no public API, no SDK, no browser extension, no Instagram or YouTube support, and no scheduling or publishing. The MCP connector is not a public API: it is a plan-gated connection for chat apps, not something to build against. If the docs do not cover something, say so and point to contact@wholana.com rather than guessing.
# Workspaces & teams
> A workspace is one TikTok account: what it holds, how to add teammates on Team, and where billing and data settings live.
A **workspace** is one TikTok account. Your swipe file, scripts, Lenses, connected handle, niche, and voice profile all belong to the active workspace. You get a personal workspace automatically, with no setup step.
Each workspace carries **its own subscription**. Starting a second workspace means starting a second subscription for it.
## Workspace settings
Open [Settings → Workspace](https://app.wholana.com/settings/workspace):

Connecting the TikTok handle is what lights up the account-level surfaces: the [Dashboard](/features/dashboard) and [Your videos](/features/your-videos). Without it, everything else still works.
### Voice profile
Three fields, all optional, that shape anything Wholana generates in your voice:
* **What you make**: the kind of videos you post, your niche, your angle.
* **Business context**: what you are selling or building, and who it is for.
* **Writing-style sample**: paste a caption or script that sounds like you.
## Account settings
[Settings](https://app.wholana.com/settings) holds the things that belong to you rather than the workspace:
* Your **profile** (name, avatar).
* The **[WhatsApp](/features/whatsapp)** connection.
* **Export data**: download your profile, lists, and ideas as a JSON file.
* **Delete account**.
## Switching workspaces
A switcher appears in the sidebar once you belong to more than one workspace. Switching swaps the whole app to that workspace's content at once. With a single workspace the switcher stays hidden, and you create your second one from **Settings → Workspace → General**.
## Members
Inviting teammates is a **Team plan** capability.
On Personal or Plus, the members card shows an upgrade prompt instead of an invite row. See [Pricing](/pricing).
In [Settings → Members](https://app.wholana.com/settings/members), enter an email and pick a role.
Members can be **admin** or **member**. The **owner** role cannot be handed out. Only the owner sees the management controls; everyone else sees a read-only roster.
Invited members get access through the workspace, so they do not need their own subscription. The workspace is billed per occupied seat, with a floor of 2 seats. Seats count on acceptance, not on send, and removing a member lowers the count at the next sync.
Team is also what makes live collaboration in [Scripts](/features/scripts) useful: several people can edit one script at once.
## Billing
Manage the subscription from **Settings → Billing**. It opens the Polar customer portal, where you change plan, update your card, and read invoices. The card shows the current status: Active, Trial, Canceling, or Payment failed.
Only a workspace owner or admin can start or renew a subscription.
